I dropped out of my university. I hated it there, I felt like I was in a prison.
I thought transferring over to a smaller college would help but I still feel horrible.

How can they say college will be the best years of your life? ...who's life? Not mine.

" Are you taking up classes that will give you a career you'd love? I know that can make a huge impact, whether you are passionate or not about what you are doing. Or, is it something else that is making you feel this way? Need more info....hang in there and good luck! "

" I totally relate to how you feel. Did you ever consider going to a community college? You can live on your own, take classes that you want to take, and not feel like you are in a prison? best of luck. don't give up. These are all lessons to gain strength from. "

" Yea I was thinking that it mightthat maybe right now you're not ready for college if you're majoring in a career that you're passionate about. Although it'll be best to just get college over with, but if you don't feel like you can currently do your best/give it your all then maybe you should take sometime off for yourself. Take like a semester or two off and see what happens. But taking a semester can leave you to keep putting back when you return to school, so I only advise this if you're 100% sure you'll be able to go back when the time comes. Good luck.

Like hikingchica advised you may also want to try a community college. "

" I'm not going to quit again. I already left once, I'm just going to stick it out at my new college. Thanks for the support, I just feel weird right now because the university was so hard and now I'm at this small college where things are much easier [work load] and when I graduate I only get a college diploma, not a degree. Did anyone on here take time off for a while? I just want to know, if when I do go back and finish my BS and go into nursing school, is it hard to get back into everything again? Because this school is too easy, and yet I'm still feeling overly stressed. "
