okay......I was just in the kitchen cooking bacon and eggs, when it hit me.

I feel good today because I have been thinking about the messages I have been reading about turning our troubles over to our HP. I am doing that to the best of my ability and I feel relief!!! I somehow got out of touch of my HP....I am thinking hard about how we cannot completely control our lives in some areas....that control is not up to us....but the power that is higher than us....

Funny how I forget to give my HP my problems....I put myself thru so much crap.....

I am not beating myself up for not using my HP.....forgiving myself and moving on....

" You know.. I was in the hospital a while back and the counselor said something about the whole HP thing. I laughed at him. "I'm an atheist!" I told him. then he told me this story:

"I once knew a girl. She was bulimic. Her HP was a coffee pot"

"A coffee pot?" I said.

He nodded. "A coffee pot. The one at her meetings. Her life was such a mess and there wasn't a single thing she could count on.. except that she knew that coffee pot would always be there. It was a constant in her life. An absolute. A tiny bit of order in her chaotic world"

I found this inspiring and thought I'd share to reach out to all of the non religious people here. Though I've yet to find my HP, I wish everyone else good luck. "

" I am not a religious person by any means.....I do like some things that Buddhism offers, but even then I wouldn't say I am completely Buddhist. My Hp is whatever is out there that is bigger than me....

Love the coffee pot story....so symbolic in many ways....
