When you had no concept of other people living their own lifes and boundaries. You live through people and look to other people to provide you happiness. This is because you feel you can't do anything. You don't accept yourself as a unique individual and live a false life to be like everyone else. Where does this thinking come from? Is this co-dependency?

Its not that I dare to answer your question - I am struggling too much to understand myself. But the way you think seems to me it could well be codependence. Why dont you read the book by Mellody "Facing Codependence" - I am reading it right now. Its very well written - respectful and sensitive at the same time.
