I need help
I have a freind who called on anniversay of parents'death and said really nothing,then proceede to go on and on about a concer
I had to get off phone and cried
She invites other people that Dropped me and
I pay the dinner and they talk about going to
movie
SOmetimes when I am with friends they will
talk about other peiple and getting together
say nothing to me
I thought on anniversary realtives and friends might have called or sent not

" I had a recent experience with something like this... only I was the one who forgot. My bf's brother was murdered 11 years ago. I remember VERY well the date he was murdered but forgot his birthday which was last week. He was SO angry with me because he was hurting. I did not know.... I know those days are hard for him but I don't know what he's feeling. I told him... "PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU NEED WHEN YOU NEED IT. Not days later." I am not a mind reader and maybe you friends aren't either. That day is important to you... it is hard for you... not them. Maybe you need to tell them, "Hey guys,... this is a hard day... its' the anniversary of my parents death."

I guess I also realized recently that I am not a person to remember anniversaries... good or bad. I just don't keep them in my head. I can remember a birthday usually but not anniversaries. Maybe they aren't as callous as you think and they just suck at remembering. Next time... tell them how you're feeling and if they're still in their own world then maybe try to move on to someone who cares about your feelings.

I hope today is a better day! "
