Feeling blah Mondayish today. Went for an 8 mile run, really didn't feel like it, but it actually felt good while I was out. It's colder today than I thought, so I was really chilly when I started out, but by the time I finished, I was glad I went out in shorts.

God have things been crazy around the house. School has started and soccer is going on too. I have been doing ok, have not cut in about a month. That is good! Well, another month. Here we go. Feeling once again like I am in a freefall. I have a job interview this morning with Compassionate Caregivers. They provide "non-medical" care to senior citizens so they can remain independent longer. You have to do some cooking, cleaning, run errands and transport them to doctor appts and such. Wow, I just realized that I hadn't written in a couple of days. wow. Feeling glum today. Don't know if glum is actually a word. But that is how I feel anyway. Yesterday, I ran 12 miles. A little girl went to her bedroom and pulled a glass jelly jar from its hiding place in the closet.
She poured the change out on the floor and counted it carefully. Three times, even The total had to be exactly perfect. No chance here for mistakes.

Feeling out of sorts this morning. Kinda tired, although I slept like 10 hours last night. I think I must still be on "sleep deficit". Didn't really feel like it, but ran 5 miles anyway. It actually felt good. Really sad to hear about Paul Newman's death.1 Comment -

Yes folks, I am an idiot. I woke up this morning, glanced at the clock and thought it said 5:45. So I jumped out of bed thinking I was late, showered, dressed and looked again at the clock. It said 5:15, plain as day. lol. Couldn't go back to sleep of course. But have been really dragging all day.

Attempted a 24 mile run yesterday. It got really hot near the end and I ended up having to walk the last 2 miles. I just couldn't run in the heat. I went through more water than I have in a long time.
