so i have always had pain with menstrating and all the womenly things that come with endometriosis. however, they now know that the lupron did wonders to that and havent really been an issue. the suspect bec i was sexually abused taht some of it could be mental. i am on antidepressants but i dont see it helping with pain. and i have always had severe lower back pain.
well for the past two weeks i am having a really hard time walking. the pain is so intense in my lower pelvic area that it just hurts to move. and when i do move i get shooting pains in my stomach and inbetween my legs (if you get my drift). then today i started hurting so badly i have laid in bed. my arms hurt, my legs hurt and even typing this is hurting. my fingertips are in pain. it hurts to move my wrist. i dont get what is going on. i have had menstral cramps but no period for a week. i thought mabye i was pregnant as i did this with my son, and i possibly could be...but i cant explain the back aches and arm/hands hurting as bad as they are. i have taken the max of motrin which did nothing. and have settled on taking vicadin for rest. i dont sleep. i dont get deep sleep and having since i was a teenager, the abuse has a lot to do with this. when reading over the symptoms i know i am always tired. i could sleep all day and still feel like i only slept an hour. advice? i went to the ER a few months back from an episode that sounds exactly like this. they thought i had an appendicitis but found out i had a ruptured ovarian cyst. they put me on morphine and antibiotics so it didnt create an infection because it ruptured up into my abdomen and was bleeding out. they watched me for a few hours and sent me home with some Oxycontin and told me that i needed to change my birth control immediately.
i was having a bunch of these "episodes" last year after i switched off the ortho evra patch. and my body didnt like it. i think i went to the ortho tricyclen low.(low hormone pill) and it caused me to have my period for 3 months straight and i had ovarian cysts quite a bit all through out the last year but i didnt know what they were. it was just so painful. every time i had my period i was on the couch crying the entire week because it hurt so bad. the cramps were to the point where i would start screaming and i had to take almost fatal doses of ibuprofen to calm the cramps down enough to "tolerate".psht yeah right. i decided to deal with the heart flutters of the patch and i switched back 2 months ago. the first month i had a bad period. not like it was before though. i could actually walk around a little. this month was wonderful i was able to take normal doses of ibuprofen and the cramps were almost gone. some of them were still painful but not nearly what they used to be. i was even able to go floating down the river on a tube of course. lol. i am not looking forward to next months period but im not terrified of it anymore. i dont think this has anything to do with "psychological" stuff. you could be getting cysts like i was, or you could even have fibriods. definitely contact and OBG and have them take a look. try a different birth control. it could be a hormone problem like mine. i couldnt ovulate so i would develop cysts that eventually ruptured into my abdomen. good luck i hope you feel better
