Hello. Yesterday my doctor suggested I find a support group so I spent time on the internet looking up different sites. I have chosen this one. I think I can join in several different catagories.

My name is Mary Lou. I am 55, married for 35 years to my first date. I have had chronic back since 1970. Oh, I had releif after my first two surgeries, but once I hurt my back in 1990, I have not had any relief. Since then, I have had two more surgeries. My last one, in Jan. 2006, put me in the hospital for three weeks.

I have tried just about every treatment there is and I have probably been on every medication at one time or another.

Living with pain on a daily basis is extremely difficulton me and my family. If you deal with this, you can understand how depression hits hard sometimes. I think one of the most difficult for me is that I have been on workman's comp since april 1990. They have turned extremely aggressive and dealing with that has made my depression even worse.

I hope to hear from some of you and I hope that I can help some of you while some of you are helping me.
