Good Book to recommend

Hi all,

I just finished reading "The Pain Survival Guide: How to Reclaim Your Life" and thing it useful. While the step by step program may not be applicable to you all - was not to me - the chapters about the emotions and psychology of pain, and the effects on family and friends (how others deal with you when you are in pain) hit close to home and I found myself highlighting graphs, etc. For my, the best part was the understanding of how the mind reacts to the pain: feeling of worthlessness as your daily chores are "transferred" to someone else, as you can do less and less for yourself an must ask for help; the other part I found useful is the discussion of how the pain permeates the family: caregivers, husbands and wives. The fact that they are asked to do more and get less. I highly recommend it.

If you have read a book that touches on these topics, which you thought useful, I'd appreciate your recommendation.

Thanks, Nili
