i have called every tennessee state agency i could find, on the onternet, in the phonebook, even lawyers, not even the ombudsman can tell me what the tennesse law is on if a nursing home staff dr can quit a resident without some kind of notice. how do i get this information? i did file complain on the dr with the state and even did the yahoo search thing for dr's and it has a place to leave comments, i set him out big time! go to yahoo and search for dr stephen white in clarksville tn and read it, i am just getting started with the so called dr that od'd my mother with a sedative that she has never, ever needed before. its not slander, i have er report, oh, i talked to mother at first this morning she was clamy and sweaty, withdrwing from so much adivan. tonight i called her she sound somuch beter, i asked her if she remembered anything she said no, i asked her if she remembers anything over the lst few weeks and she said no. i told her she no longer gets the med that makes her so out of it she doesnt know whats going on around her, she said great. if anyone knows what the law is on TN nursing home staff doctors giving notice on quiting a resident while they are in er for being od'd per his orders, please let me know.

" Priscila, try the State Medical Board or the State Attorney General's office. They should know the law on this issue. "

" Gaaarp took the word right out of my mouth I think that the State Attorney General's office would be a great place to get some answers also just a thought maybe call your congress person or senator it is an election year and maybe they could help too.

I hope things get better soon and you get some answers and some action keep us posted on what happens. I hope that they get that stupid doctor no person need to go through what you and especially your mom went through maybe its good that she does not remember right now. "

" Hi Priss.. /would it be possible for you to care for your Mom at home? I know you have a special needs child but it's done everyday.. Perhaps hire someone a few hours in the morning and a couple at night to get her ready for bed.. I think you need to consider this LOL D "
