I know there are too many of us on this site, so I wanted to share some resources. Finding information about this cancer can be difficult, but my first recommendation to anyone dealing with this is to try to find a neuroendocrine oncologist. A regular oncologist usually doesn't have the expertise to deal with this.

" thank you so much. those are both great websites which I sent on to my mom. Dad is the one suffering and he has to get his treatment at the VA. They're good but sometimes I worry about them being outdated. they're not doing anything about his diarrhea. he is so exhausted which may or may not be related to the cancer. he's dehydrated and lacking in several vitamins because of the diarrhea. I'm a medical assistant but I am limited in my knowledge. Any way I can help is great. Thanks again. Lisa "
