Burns Support Group

i'v burned my face two times but both by accident. i first burned my whole face with hydrocortisone cream. i had put too much on too many times and i ended up burning a layer of skin. i was so afraid it was goin to scar but it didnt. i had to go to school even though it was embarressing to walk down the halls with a cherry-red face. wen it started to heal my face felt kind of waxy and stiff. i would lay a wet towel on my face to make it feel better. wen it started to peal it looked really nasty. my mom had let me stay home a couple timez cuz i was feeling soo self conscious. after that i promised myself that i wouldn't burn myself again like that.

right now my lips are still healing from being burt from blistex. yes i burned my lips from blistex. i had put too much on too many timez. its medicated && i used too much. at first it looked like a bad case of chapped lips but wen it got really bad i knew i had burned em. they cracked,bled,pealed,and were cherry-red. my lips were burned and between my lips and noise was also burned. right now they are healing really well because of this medicine that my doctor prescribed me. i just hope i dnt use too much of that.
