I am just starting the divorce procedures and went to the bookstore and saw a ton of them on this subject. Holy Crap! !!!!! Can anyone recommend a good book, one that is insightful and helpful. My heart has been broken, I am raising two young boys and where I live I don't have any family support and have just made a few friends. (We moved here less than a year ago to our dream house which we just built and now have to sell.)

I just started to read - Rebuilding - When your Releationship Ends - Dr. Bruce Fisher. I was at one of our local second hand stores - picked it up for $1.00 - perhaps the best $1 I've spent so far - seems to be very insightful at this point.

the 2 books that to me were closest to my feelings are...1. divorce care by steve grissom and kathy leonard..this is the book that they use at divorcecare support groups.the people have the same range of emotions that i have....2. get out of that pit by beth moore..both are wonderful and will help when all else fails, the book of psalms helps me (sometimes)

sorry about your house. we bot house in feb 06 and she asked for divorce 9 months later..i didnt get to spend a thanksgiving or christmas there and it sold for 42,000 less than we owed in june of this year. by her being in contempt she is SUPPOSED to pay the biggest share, but the legal system sucks..you are not in this by yourself..take care of yourself
