I don't know. The weekend Ironman came out my STBX was off with the kids and the OM. I really wanted to see the movie and I thought it was good so I didn't notice much of the other people. Afterwards I went to a furniture store nearby and looked around to get an idea of what it's going to cost me to furnish my new place.

That was one time. Other times I go to the movies with buds or with my kids.

You went to the wrong flick dude, next time go comedy, lots of singles with smiles. Hugs and prayers to you, you won't be lonely 4ever, really!

I wish they had a place locally that we could sign up to go to a movie with another person that is alone. I have gone out to dinner by myself but not a movie .. Guess I should just do it and the mystery would leave.. Glad that you got out there . I am going to try and do this for myself soon, but I am not looking forward to it.. Kimmee

See, this is what kills me -- there are cleraly many of us out here who would love to ahve someone to go to a movie with -- but we can't find each other in our own towns! I would have gladly gone to the movies with you, just to have someone to keep me company and maybe comment on the movie to afterward. (Assuming, of course, that you are not too annoying to be around, lol.) I don't go lots of places I might otherwise go cuz I am afraid I will get lonely in a crowd. But, hey, good for you for trying it out! I say try it again sometime! Maybe you needed to see a better movie, lol.

Kimmee what an awesome idea. we should spark up a business, there are a lot of lonely people out there and with technology, it should be a hinderance anymore.

Have had enough courage to try it yet. I can go out to dinner alone--that doesn't seem to bother me, but I always associate going to the movies as a date type activity.

Just have to change my way of thinking.

Yeah, and we should charge what e-harmony does...we could be the next warren buffet :)
