its been over a year scince she left and i have the kids on my mind a lot. They are seemingly the main reason to move forward in life. The oldest girl 7 seems to be adjusting but the youngest needs a londg way to go . If the divorce is finalized quicker does this help. I am not sure but if it would help the kids i might try to settle things faster. It still bothers me that the kids react to me more and not here. And a slow part may be the custody battle that seems to be creeping in.

It is good that you are thinking of your kids first. The closure of divorce is just part of the road to your new life, and your kids' new life as well. What do you wnat to do? Is it better for you to get the divorce over with? Start negotiating custody so it doesn't turn into a battle. Good luck to you.

The children will hurt even if you settle things quick or slow. Just love them, love them, and love them more. Take good care of yourself and learn all that you can about what went wrong in your marriage for the future of any relationships you may have.
