My stbx was wanting a dog, b/c we took my daughter's dog with us. So he saw an ad and went and bought a male this weekend. He bought all the necessities.
He sent pictures to our daughter so she could see and told her that he named to dog, Pouncer. Yesterday he took the dog to the vet for a check up. He filled out the paperwork that the dog was a male and it's name was Pouncer. The vet walks in and says that name sounds like a boy name. The stbx says well, the dog is a boy. The vet says, um, this dog's a girl! I think he's headed for a rough time if he can't even tell the sex of a dog without me there! LMAO!!!!!! Posted on 07/01/08, 04:07 pm |

surprisingly enough this happens a lot in vet practice (but mostly with little kittens). It always gives the staff a little chuckle when this happens. Ahh...I miss vet practice. :(
