So I went to sleep about 2 hours ago and the nightmares are back. I have had 2 of them so far each with a panic attack. I'm tired and sleepy but scared to go back to sleep, obviously. It's almost 2am here. Any sugg that is not drug related?

" There's no quick-fixes, but there's a few things you can try:

-As you're laying down, think about what you want to dream about. Try to visualize it as much as you can. The trick is to pass out as you're immersed in this idea and usually you'll transition from consciously thinking about it to thinking about it in your dreams.

-In some respects, much like your diet affects your physical health, what you feed your mind during the period of time you're awake feeds your subconscious. Before you go to sleep, try to only focus on positive things, or things that bring you comfort.

Those are a few of the simpler things you can do. There are other things you can try to help improve your "sleep health" as well. "
