How do you get over someone that in your heart you dont want to get over. How do you try and block out all the love you have for someone that has decided they dont love you anymore. I want to forget her and move on but i just cant do it. Is there anything that helps?? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

arran, you can't block out all the love for her. you have to grieve this relationship, it's like a death. a roller coaster of emotion. take each feeling with each day, live through it and try to move on a day at a time. it sure does not happen overnight. it's been 7 months for me, and i'm just starting to feel good about myself and my life. keep coming here and reading posts and writing your feelings in a journal. it takes time. there is no easy trick to this. this is such a great place to come and if we all have to go through this, these are the people to go through it with.
