I need to figure out how to want to date other men. I have plenty of offers, but I am so hurt and distrustful that I am scared to go out with anyone. I need to work out these feelings, but am not being successful. Any suggestions!!!

Kim has it right. I am a 47 year old man and this is my first divorce only after 3 years of marriage. I am scared other women are going to treat me like she did. It's something I will have to overcome. Just take it slow. Let the guys know your not wanting anything but friendship right now. That will help weed out those who really want you as a friend and those who are only looking for sex. I have the worst first date story after the stbx asked for the divorce. Let me know if you want to hear it sometime. It was almost enough to make me say FORGET IT! Go at your own pace. If they really care they will let you. {{{hugs!}}}
