" I dont think it is to idealistic to ask for and expect respect, fidelity and companionship. You're not crazy, we're not crazy. Those butt wipes who threw away people who cared for and loved them are the unrealistic ones. "

" A partner - that is what I now know I really wanted. A partner will always be there to support you. They will help you make the big life decisions and keep you strong ... and you do the smae for them. You build each other up (not tear each other down), and that support is what will make it through good and bad. Maybe I am crazy - but a partner is what I want - two people giving equally. Enough af the crap of being the only one trying ect "

" A 'whole' person, warts and all, realistic expectations, sweet communication, patience.

Someone who 'gets' what I have to offer, and finds my faults endearing (most days.) "

" I can handle just about anything in a spouse...a beer gut, the toilet seat being left up...his farting like a bison who just ate refried beans...but the one thing I can't tolerate is dishonesty. That was my bottom line. All I wanted is honesty in my marriage. Honesty, integrity and maturity. Yep...thats it in a nutshell. "
