Breakups & Divorce Support Group

This weekend was a big weekend for us. Sat. was my little girls b-day and sun. was her party and mothers day of course. Well the whole weekend went great!!!!! I had a lot of fear on fri. night that my stbx would not show up for her, like he promised her and the other kids. But he did, he had to stay at my place with the kids the whole weekend cause his place was not ready yet. I thought that would turn out bad, but it went well. I just slept out at my girl friends house came home in the mornings, had a nice relaxing bathe both mornings sooo nice. Sunday morning he sent one of the girls up to see if I wanted break fest , I asked for coffee. He sent it up with the kids. He helped with the whole party clean up and everything! We didn't really talk much but there was no arguing at all!
Mostly I'm so happy for my kids and mostly for the B-day girl that they had such a good weekend with their dad. TO see them playing together brought tears to my eye's. They love him sooo much, and he has not been there for them very much for a few months. The kids asked me why I was crying and I just said cause I'm soo happy that your having a good time with your daddy. We acted sooo grown up LOL.
