So, I met with him and its been a rollercoaster since then. We talk, he gets upset. We talk, he gets happy. Today he was talking about going out with some friends tomorrow to a restaurant. I was like cool. Have fun. Then this afternoon, the dr came in and was talking about his restaurant. He said the name and it was the same place billy was going with his friends. I said, oh my husband and his friends are going tomorrow night. He gave me some free drink cards. So I texted Billy. I said, hey i got yall some free drinks for tomorrow night. Ill send the cards with keith. Hes like cool how youd do that? I told him dr matta owned it and gave some. SO now hes like, oohhhh a doctor. Real nice. I sent back, I am only trying to be supportive. Now hes mad. Again. You know what, I think hed really crap his pants if i did date someone. Whats the deal. He doesnt want to be accountable for his behavior. I cant take him back. I can love him form a distance. I think maybe I should cut contact, but I dont want to. Im hoping he will catch his head. Will everyone that reads this please pray so that Billy gets some awareness of his anger and alcoholism. Please pray for him. I hate to see someone I love walk around miserable forever.

I pray for all of us daily. As much as I LOVE this website and the validation it gives to my feelings, I can't help but stop and wonder what is going on with our society that it is so easy for people to split up. My husband simply gave up on us because we had one too many fights. Sure, I was a nag about the hours he put in, but I can learn how to change the way I react to situations. I'm willing to do that - change. Why won't my husband give it a try? Why does he want to do this to us and to our 9 year old son? This is just crazy and the whole world we live in! Let's all pray for our children and the world they will be living in. Hopefully there will be some stability left for them! Good Luck with your situation.

Because hes going to do it anyway. I guess it was my way of letting go of the nagging about drinking. He is not admittedly an alcoholic. He just needs it everyday.
