To be too heavy and be yourself. Don't talk about the X. If he brings up his X say "let's not talk about our X's"
Think of some things to talk about before the date and don't get drunk.

How exciting!! As SeanE said, just be yourself and make sure not to drink too much. That can lead to disaster. Think of this as a new beginning to becoming the woman you truly want to be. Good luck. Keep us posted.

Thanks guys. I am gonna make sure we take it slow. He sounds too good to be true from the messages he sends me I hope he's for real.
He's aware of my situation and I'm not affraid to tell him to cool it if he tries to get too serious too soon : )

i cant even imagine dating until i am divorced and healed. i am afraid i will screw up a good relationship since i am still feeling the emotions from this divorce. my only advice is "what is the hurry?" or if you prefer "what the hell, have a great time"

My advice is be yourself. Don't pretend your someone your not, and just be honest. If it does turn out to be something fantastic, you don't want to give false impressions. You will do fine in fact you will do WONDERFUL... I'm so excited for you! oh.. bath, brush your hair and teeth.. :)

Do something nice for yourself before you go - buy some new underwear, get your nails done - anything that makes you feel sexy. Then smile, laugh, have a wonderful time. This is just the beginning of the rest of your new life!!! Enjoy.

Keep out the conversation about ex's and sex
Down the road, maybe, but nothing soon.

I have never been on a date. :) Got married when I was 18 to my guy who was my boyfriend since 13, and would have no clue what to say or do. Please let us know how it turns out.
