I was diagnose yesterday with one of two places on my brain mri being a meningioma...they say do nothing about it..it may not grow at all...then add additional testing on my cervical spine and lumbar puncture. So I guess I should have been more questionable just seem to get confused so easily these days and concentrating is tough. I lose words, drop things, left hand shakes, eyes twitch and I am scared what is really going on and getting there to late. I have to raise my son alone! I am not me that is for sure ...it is like something is so different now and has been for a few weeks now. I zone out and for some stupid reason find myself randomly counting numbers. Anyway any advise. We are doing a set of mri on cervical spine and then lumbar puncture...i so think they sugar coat things to keep us from worry because that is so bad ...any thoughts or advise ?

So I am not sure how to deal with much of anything anymore, except hide from doctors then they can't find stuff wrong. Thanks again! "

" Your story sounds just like what I was going through. The doctors said the same thing to me, until I told them I wanted it out now. Then they are smiled and said I had made the right decision. They can't give you their opinions...they have to cover themselves, but once you make YOUR decision then they can tell you what they REALLY think. "

" It is very important for ANY of us with ANY Type of tumor to do as much research as possible and learn as much as we can, in order to Qestion and discuss our tumor with the doctors. They have to know we mean business - and want to be active in our quest for information and treatment.
Continue to post and let us know how you are doing. Take care.
