" hiya I have several brain tumours including one which is malignant at the moment (grade III astrocytoma). I have had radiotherapy for 4 so far, killing 3 of them but the 4th is a little more stubborn. I still have several more benign ones in my head but they aren't being dealt with at the moment.

I am generally an outgoing, upbeat sort of person even with all this going on so please get in touch. Are you going through a similar experience at the moment? lemming "

" Hi there,
I found out i had a Oligodendroglioma when i return from a deployment from Iraq back in 2004. i was told that 95% of these types of tumors are terminal. I did a year of chemo which shrank it in half but it is still there. It is in an area(left frontal lobe) that it is best they don't go in after it. Radation is not an optiob either due to the fact it would hurt the left side of the brain. So it is a hurry up and wait game. But i am still in the Army and have been for 16yrs now. They tell me the outcome could be 10 yrs plus no promises. "

" Hello,

I'm new here -- new to the diagnosis of a brain tumor too. My surgery was in November 2007, before thanksgiving and it was not 100% successful. Part could not be removed because there was too much bleeding.

I've turned down Radiation-for now-and will have another MRI next month. Then I'll decide.

Right now, I'm very tired -- and dizzy and to be honest, quite frightened. "

Hello Everyone,
I had cancers for 6 years, and had 4 operations to remove them. But new kept growing very rapidly. Things were getting even worse when a friend rang me last November to tell me about a herb that had cured another friends cancer.
I took the herb and within 6 days my symptoms had completely gone except for a lack of energy which is slowly recovering.
If you want to find out about this herb there is research on the following site.
Simply type herbs are special as one word no spaces into Google, and the site will come up. Click on Herb Robert in the left hand list.
I refused chemo and radiation as they seemed illogical to me with cancer, and had already outlived my two specialists guesses on how long I had to live at best.
I used EFT..which is also on the net. Good luck and hugs to you. Stella "

" my journey into cancer started on a warm summers day in ft lauderdale fla.me and my girlfriend of twelve years angela where down there for a little R n R we were on the beach and all of a sudden my eyes where blurry
angela said you might have lotioin in your eyes she threw me a towel and iwiped them nothing so we went back to the room and i washed my eyes out still blurry.she was worried and we decide to end the vacation and get back home to boston.when i got home i made an appointment with my endocrinoligist this is the doctor i go to for my addisons disease i had addisons since i was 13 yrs old.in the meantime i was gonna go to work for a day i went to try on my work pants and they were very tight i ws like what the heak i didnt eat anymore than usual
i had been pretty skinny most of my life iwas about `75 180 up until i came down with the cancer well i weight myself i was up a few pounds i was up to190.so i called my doctor and said i have to come in tommorow and get checked.so iwent to bed and i weighed 190 and whn i woke up i weighed myself in the morning i was 205.i called the doctors office in the monrning and told him that i gained 15 pounds overnight the receptionist who was a nurse said there is no way that can be true
well i was wright. the doctor sent me for an mri and called me back to his office amd saod je was g pmma admit me for further testing.so i ssat in this local wrinky dink hospital for a week and he came to the conclusion and bluntly told my mother and my fiance that they should get use to the fact that i have an inoperable tumor and that i was gonna die.the oly good thing that he did for me was send me to foctor fred hochburg at mass general.he and doctor carter where deviseing a treatment for my exact type of cancer useing an old type of chemo methel trexate.there was no talk of death or no way out that was important too me.But my fiance and my mom never told me he said i was gonna die intil i was all better. so i started on my treatments a year of every ten days and then a year of ounce a month and my tumors were gone they said they didnt expect for them to be gone so soon but one day i had them and then the next they were gone.and finaly after all my side errects i have some good news im due to have a baby with my wife on may 23 my first i never though i would live to see the day. it makes me feel very blessed and lucky.this past december i celebrated my 40th birthdayi hope my 40s are better than my 30s were "
