Just wanted to let you know that I started a blog called Meningioma Living at meningiomablog.blogspot.com
its just a way for me to share everything I have gone through this year since being diagnosed. This board is great, but I have so much to say. Just letting everyone know they are free to check it out and leave comments if you want. If you are new to this, you can get an idea of what can happen, and if you've been going through this for awhile, maybe we have similar experiences or completely different experiences. Anyways, Its my way of sharing. Posted on 10/26/07, 11:10 pm |

I've just visited your web log Propgirl - looks like a great way to share your experiences with others going through similar times and I'm sure it will help lots of people. I like your positive writing style too.
Good luck, Terrafirma.

Hi Propgirl! I just read your blog. I think it is fantastic. I think it would be very theraputic to write about your journey. I had a meningioma taken out on Sept. 26/07. I have been told I will have a good outcome, yet I still feel depressed at times, so I appreciate your honesty about emotions. By the way, Dan In Real Life is my latest favourtie movie, too.
I also heard all the hype about Tuesdays with Morrie and finally read it. It really helped me with my perspective. I will continue to check in on your and your blog. Keep writing!

I was wanting to find out if it normal for feeling down and having no interest in things after having brain surgery. I also get so tired so easliy and want to be left alone. Anyone else feel this way.

Hi,
It was interesting to read about your experience with radiation therapy and I was reluctant to go that way myself for various reasons. Here's some information on another treatment option you may not have considered. If your tumour keeps growing keep it in mind. Here's my story to share, just published in the Australian Medical Journal: The fight for a life-saving drug: a personal perspective http://www.mja.com.au:80/public/issues/187_11_031207/lan10997_fm.html
