The current findings suggest that medications that directly affect BAG1 may be a potential new strategy for developing more targeted treatments to improve recovery from both depressive and manic episodes in bipolar disorder, as well as managing stress-related reactions in general." Great article, Jace! Thank you for sharing. I think it's wonderful how scientists, researchers AND those of who suffer from mental illnesses are making a difference so that others don't have to suffer the way a lot of us have through the past 30 or more years. It's a slow process, but it IS working one step at a time.
