My hair loss is getting bad, I'm starting to get bald spots. I was thinking of asking my pdoc for a different mood stabilizer, but I'm wondering if the others have the same side effect? I know lithium can cause it, but anyone experince hair loss with other stabilizers?

Sounds like zinc and selenium (two minerals) added to your vitamin regimen helps eliminate (or at least slow down) the hair loss for some people. "

" I myself was on Lamictal still am but my mom noticed a a couple balc spots the size of the kinda as big as $1.oo coin spot oin my head I read on here that,that could be the cauxe I quit it for about a month and they went away.To each person It is different I guess that's just me.

" I meant to say the size of a bald spot tghe size of a dollar coin appeared.I am still on Lamictal and read on here that was or could be the answer I stopped for about a month they went away so gonna ask dx if there is something better for me to use

And my hair's long, so it can really be messy.

Tons in my brush, and always having to pull it out of the shower drain.
