yes and yes. You sound like a rapid cycler. I am and I can change minute to minute, day to day, month to month. I'm on abilify now and have maintained the good part of manic for a couple of months now. Tell your therepist all of this and your feelings. I personally would say you ARE bipolar. Good luck and we're here for ya.

It does sound like bipolar to me. I have a very irregular cycling pattern, sometimes I cycle daily and sometimes monthly. I agree that you should tell the doctors the truth about everything, they are here to help. Good luck, and I am here if you need to talk to someone.

Elevated and low moods don't necessarily mean BP. Can I suggest you keep a mood diary for the appointment with the shrink, it will help you and them to try and understand what exactly is going on. Good luck with it, I hope you find some answers and some relief

Sounds like you're bipolar but only a good psychiatrist can dx you. Just be as open and honest with him/her as possible.

Face value, it sounds like rapid cycling. But there are also other things that it could be. Def get dx from pdoc. If you want to learn more about bipolar disorder, I put out a topic with lots of resources. Here is the link:
