small Lithium dosage

Any of you on a small Lithium dosage and one or two ad´s ???( Im on 750 mgs- 0.53 Li level) and 120 mgs Cymbalta.
I think my pdoc is trying tp target the depressions and only them, cause wouldn´t some of you get manic on those dosages?? I know we are all different, bare with me:-) Posted on 07/12/08, 08:07 am |

I am on 900mg. of litium, 300mgs in the am and 600mgs. in the pm. There is a certain level that helps with depression at it is over 1 Li. level. It is a stabalizing drug and I don't think it would cause mania. I don't see any symptoms of mania. However, I seem to be always slightly depressed yet. Hang in there!

Mine is the total opposite. He targets my mood and ignores my depression. He just upped my Abilify to 40 mg. 10 mg. past the max.

Im on 500 Li and 400 tegretol...my level is subthreshold. Its a good thing but not sure hw effective, ive been stable for quite a while. The less meds the better it is for me.

I am on 600 mgs if Lithium and have been for 3 years. I take Lamictal for depression, which I understand is the best one for BP/ depression. I am always in the theraputic level. I am more manic than depressed but when he tried to up the lithium I got the hand tremers. Lithum does have a small amount of anti-depressive effects, according to him.

Any of you have a level under 6.0? Mine is 5.3 and my pdoc is happy with that. ( said I should be between 5.0-8.0) …
