" Some sleep aides can relax the throat so much that snoring can occur. "

" It might be sleep apnea. The throat is so relaxed, it blocks the air in your throat causing the person to snore. "

" Your question is worded kind of funny....not all snoring is from meds, but it can be a side effect. Especially something like a sleep aid, or something that can make you drowsy. "

" If they snore while you talk to them ? ..then that could be Nicholas Narcolepsby, a Dickensian disorder.
Or it could be that yr boring.

I've had both happen to me..

" If you are snoring and are tired in the a.m., get a sleep study. You probably have sleep apnea. Could very well be from the throat relaxing from too deep a sleep, but it's also hereditary and caused by weight.

I have sleep apnea, and I didn't know what a good night's sleep was till I got a CPAP. OMG, it's amazing. I look like fricken' Darth Vadar when I use it (although I use a mask that only goes up my nose), but I wouldn't trade it for the world. "
