Breathing Exercises

When I was proper Hatstand a friend kindly came round and offered me a sheet of breathing exercises his therapist had given him.I apologised and said I was way beyond help and in no way ready for them.
Years after, I find myself incorporating long, deep breaths into the Callanetics I do.
I find silent deep breaths really set me up for the day.
Has anyone here been recommended any exercises,Breathing or other?
Any good ?

" I dunno. I've tried yoga too, of which the important part is the breathing, and I just can't get there with it. Way too hyper, no patience etc. "
