I've taken it . It was too sedating for me. ( Yes a stimulant can be sedating if you are ADHD/ADD.) I nearly drove off the road!! And that was on 10mgs. You have to be careful. I take Dexedrine instead. Only half a pill per dose with no problems.

I've taken it, but not bipolar disorder. If you have bipolar disorder a stimulant *may* trigger manic episodes. I have ADD and I was on ritalin and had milder mood problems but after awhile I developed real problems with taking ritalin and my moods got out of control and I ended up being hospitalized for the first time, with a diagnosis of bipolar disorder. For me anyway, that made me rapid cycle and go manic and get really elated. Strattera is a non-stimulant used to treat ADD in folks who can't deal with real stimulants. But everyone is different. Just wanted to give you my experience

Yea I just got put on it too. I love it for when I am at work. I can finally do my job and live without feeling like I am in a fog 24/7. I am up to no more than 20 mg/ day.
