When I watch people, I watch how they treat each other. If someone in here is good to other people, then I'm more willing to care about them. Same applies to men. IF he is good to mom, then he is more likely to be good to me.

It is the usual, smile, sense of humor, sensitivity, intelligence and compassion. Like I always tell my husband we need more then love to be in a relationship.

You need commitment and trust. Commitment to someone that may have bad habits, or mental Illness. When my husband married me he had no idea nor then I that I was BP.

I always think in our marriage if something may go wrong will I still love him. Will I still love him if he gains weight, looses a limb ECT.

Hope this makes sense.

For me it's being in a room with someone and not having to make one sound but feel so happy. To be that comfortable with them.

What I can't resist, is a combination of a sense of humor and intelligence. Gets me everytime. Even applies to females for friendship. Alot of things are factored in later, but that's what grabs my attention first.

there r all different things that can make me love someone but i think the most attractive quality is humility......

I think it is a choice to love someone, something that you feel overwhelmingly compelled to do, and you choose to give in to that compulsion. Different things to different people. For me, I think you hit the nail on the head - the way a person makes my heart smile is a good indicator of whether I'm going to love someone.

Physical attributes mean nothing to me...it is what they have in their heart and soul that mean the world to me. Being honest and open and caring about what goes on in my life. Being there for the ups and the downs and not running when the downs get real bad. Sharing the everyday misery of their life with me and letting me do the same. Being able to laugh and cry as needed.
