I have 7 kids...we buy a lot of our food in bulk at Sam's Club.
So, usually it is cardboard for us

We have those Green friendly shopping bags taht are reuseable. They cost a dollar each but were worth it!!!!
BTW Keep them in the car after you empty your groceries. The only time I ask for plastic now is when I need them for my small bathroom and bedroom trash cans better the buying those expensive small trash bags. BTW they don't get put into bigger bags either we just knot them and throw them into the rubbish bins at the transfer station. paper bags I can only get at one store and I do get them at the beginning of school year to make book covers!! OK I am cheap. I refuse to buy book covers and small trash bags.

I use reusable bags.
If I use plastic I recycle it. What can I say. I live in the NW. Being green is nigh a religion here in the land of fruits and nuts.
