Did anyone take this combo? I have chronic pain as well as bipolar (yeah, doctors love me). I was put on this and found myself actually falling asleep at the wheel. Very scarey. I stopped right away.

How did anyone else, if anyone else, react to this combo or similar??

" I take cymbalta and lyrica and do not have a problem, I was suppose to take lamictal, and just could not take it. So I can not tell you about that. But the Lyrica and the cymbalta are great for depression and pain. Maybe you can ask for some neurotin instead of the lamictal. Just a thought, I am not a doctor though. Lots of luck and write if you need to chat. Kase "

" I use to take Lyrica and it worked wonderful for the pain. I too would fall asleep and would often feel like I was driving drunk. "

" I recently had the problem with the sleep thing, my cymbalta worked differently on me, where it use to give me energy, it now makes me sleepy, which my sister is on cymbalta as well, and it makes her sleepy. So try taking it at night, it is really a good drug for depression, do not stop taking them altogether. Good luck and please let me know how you are doing.

" I take cymbalta, lyrica & equitro. It's the first time in my life I feel my meds are right. I don't feel sleepy on any of it. I've never taken lamictal. I also take Deplin. Ask your doctor about this. It is for the sleepiness we get due to lack of oxygen in the blood and brain that other drugs take from us. (Layman terms of course)! It helps w/ fatigue & alertness. Good luck! "
