just started it today and its making me feel real bad ok so i was hyper but i much rather that then feeling like this i cant handle it has anyone else had problems with this med? should i just stop it cuz i dont know if i can get through the hole weekend like this still hyper but anxious confused breathless just going totally off the wall

I had the same reaction with horrible anxiety and restlessness. I went off it and now I'm on Seroquel with better results.

How exacty are you feeling on risperidone ?
I have been taking risperdal for more than a year now, and there is some symptoms I think I can relate to risperidone: no pleasure in anything and difficulty to concentrate. I would like to quit it, but my Dr. says I am going to switch to manic if I stop.

yup i am just taking it for BP im taking it every night like im supposed to cuz the mrs tells me off if i dont but im going back to the doc on wednesday so hopefully i can come off them then

I was on it years ago and it made me so hyper that I couldn't sleep at night. It was the worst med. I have ever taken.
