I took Trazadone for a long time and it helped me to sleep but I got immune to it. To me lack of sleep puts me into a place I can't control here and now so the possibility of gettig diabetes is the lessor of two evils.

I'd like to have one pill that does it all for bipolar. Drug companies are making a killing. They give you seroquel to help bipolar/sleep then you get diabetes aa a side effect. Then you take another med to help with the diabetes and then you get another side effect from that med.....does it stop? No greedy little shits.

My dr. is gradually weaning me off of Seroquel and onto Geodone. I am really happy about this because she said that Geodone diesn't cause all the big time weight gain as much as seroquel.
I also take, cymbalta, clozenapam, abilify, and lamictal

I had terrible nightmares and suicidal thoughts. I could not keep my eyes open and felt drugged out the whole time. Dr. tapered me off and put me on Lamictal and I've never felt better. No side effects, still hallucinated a little, but not nearly like before.
