If we die tomorrow,
the company that we are working for
could easily replace us in a matter of hours.
But the family & friends we leave behind
will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.
Make time for living while you're still breathing.

a thought I just read.

" So true. My 8 yr old hadn't thought that far when he put a rope around his neck last Jan. Although the way he did it, wouldn't have seriously hurt him, he would have passed out, then woken up, it was a real wake up call for every one in his Tx team. "

" Thanks Jolly,
Yes, very scary night. I was home alone with 3 kids, 8, 6, & 2. I gave him his meds about 15 mins. early and it took 3 1/2 hrs for the sleep meds to kick in, the whole night was spent with him in the middle of the living room floor. Enough room around him that he couldn't touch any one or anything on the floor. I sat with him much of the time trying to do deep breathing, while some how getting the other 2 kids off to bed. As soon as he had fallen in to a fitful sleep, I got the ph. # I needed, and made the call to the hosp, and my hubby walked in the room. I could finally have my own mini-breakdown.
Still on the roller coaster, but not so many loop-de-loops now. "
