It seems as if no matter how hard I try to stay focused and organized, I aways fail. I always get sidetracked and overly-involved in the things that I do (spending way too much time on them). Then, I run out of time, I get extremely frustrated, and don't get the things/projects even completed or done. My friends think I am a huge procrastinator and I agree to a certain extent. I think it has alot to do with the fact that my mind is always on "brain overload" and I feel overwhelmed because it never seems to slow down! I know at times that I do put things off to the last minute . . . usually when I feel depressed and unmotivated. Although, I've been on a mood stabilizer for 7 weeks now and while my depression symptoms have gotten better, I'm not to sure about my hypomania. Plus, my psych. doctor wants to increase my dosage to my med. My mind moving so fast and me talking so fast is happening more often since I started taking the Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal). Although, my severe depression has gotten better. My moods are more positive instead of negative. I'm scared because I don't know what to do. My psych. doc.says increasing the medicine will stabilize my moods more. I'm worried because what if the hypomania gets even worse!
Please, if anyone has any suggestions or advice, they will be greatly appreciated.

" Raising your Trileptal most likely won't make you more manic. It will level you out so you can concentrate better.

You might still be having trouble with mania Because you're on a lower dose than you need. "
