Bereavement Support Group

I went to a spiritualist recently (we call them psychics). After talking to family members and a counselor, I had nagging questions about my loved ones actions/statements right before his death (by suicide). I thought it was the wackiest thing I'd ever done and something I would have never done before. Actually, it was one of the more reassuring things I could have done.

I went to see a lady after a referral from my sister. The psychic or medium, had helped a friend of hers years ago. I made sure not to divulge why I was going. She told me straight away that someone had disappointed me very recently. Within a few minutes, she looked up and told me "you called him by a different name, didn't you?". There was no way she could have known that I called my boyfriend Vincent (his middle name), while his other family members called him Lloyd (his given name).

What followed was a 45 minute session that put to rest whether or not he had it all planned out to take his life (he did not). There were many other things said that are too personal to post online, but although I didn't feel better, I did have some answers I was seeking.

She cautioned me to wait at least a couple of months before coming back for another session, and asking more questions. I'm not sure I will go back, but the overall experience was enlightening, and I'm glad I went.

I've never been to one, although I have been tempted to. You never know for sure which ones are real and which ones are just out to take your money. I have left the well being of my loved ones in Gods' hands, and find comfort in that. You will have to do what your heart tells you too. Sending huggs and condolences. Rainbow

i wanted to go see one too really bad, i just have to comunicate with him again or more to the point i want him to comunicate with me again, i talk to him all the time. i think what has held me back is the same reason that held back rainbowmama, you never know who is real and who just wants your money. good luck and i will read your journal to find out what happend

I have been thinking about going as well and one lives very close by and has been referred by a friend who has gone to him several times. I just want him to talk to me and know what happened out in the water and he is okay.

when my hubby died in march 2008 my siser has a friend that a phyic she called my sister and said your brother went right to the light and he glad he there no more pain. then a day later a different friend called and she said your brother in law went right to the l ight he glad that he there. so Yes I do believe in them and If it helps to answer questions you have it good as far as I can see huggskathyjo

Dear-let me know what happens.But be careful at some of these people who call themselves psychic.I have had these feelings since I was 15 in 1962 and back then-well.I used to do readings-but now no more.I have tried to start up my business again--but seattle.these people are very popluar here.I miss my brother Frank and I do not know what to do.Brad is in jail and he will be in jail until the 4th of July.I am alone in this house with my cats and I am starving.Today I am going to go to the car show-which is free and do something else.WHere I live-the people are super and I have never been the victim of a crime.But be careful when it comes to some of these psychics.Please.SOme just want your money.I found out the hard way here and I am out 55.00!

I have had several readings and many were very good and on the money. I read your journal for your reading and wanted to say that she may have had trouble with Michael cause he has only been gone 12 wks, in the spirit world that is not a long time and he may not have built up enough energy to come through loud and clear.
