" You can always check with your pharmacist about this medication and the side effects. Also a search online. I do not take lyrica. My doctor doesn't think well of this drug. "

" I'm on lyrica and it seems to keep me on a yo-yo with my weight. I've been trying to fight the bulge the best I can but we all know you need more than 40 mins of exercise a few times a week to get major results. But I do believe the lyrica keeps me with loads of water weight and sometimes I feel as if I'm not full and I just eat (healthy not like binge) but I just want to feel full and some nights I can't. And it's really the only medication I'm on that would do that.

It sucks, but I do believe it's worth it for all the relief I recieve. "

" I was on lyrica for about two months in conjunction with other meds but had to get off it due to a weight gain of over 40 pounds in a two week time period. The doctor was about to have me admitted into the hospital due to how much water I started to retain. I couldn't walk as my feet were three times their normal size. I'm glad others are getting relief with the drug and wish I could be able to tolerate it but alas, that's not the case. Good luck. "

" I have been on lyrica for a year. I have ganed 20 pounds, but I am also on prednisone, and quit smoking. I hate the weight gain, but being without the burning pain in my hips is worth it. "

" One of the main side effects of lyrica is weight gain and swelling of the legs. I have been on this a couple of time's, never again. I gained over 40 lbs and it really screwed up my short term memory. but that's just me. I know other shave taken it and loved it. If you are going to take it I would proceed with caution. best of luck,
Hugs & god bless "
