all this IEP bs along with everything else has had me on the verge of a nervouse breakdown but i have held it together best i can along with a little help from my Dr lol, anyways, the good news,
the advocate, I mean THE advocate that is very, very, hard to get due to him having so many ieps he deals with cause he is just that damned good, has agreed to go to the iep meeting to help us get adam in general ed with all the accomadations, modifications, and an aide. his specialty is placement in general ed, so my finges are crossed that this will all fall into place for Adam, he deserves it, he has worked so hard. iep is aug 11, one day after school starts so adam will only have to go to lifeskills for no more then a week or even less. i am still so thrilled about this advocate. he is the best in the state. it took 8 months of constant contact and sending hime every little thing about adam and school, oh, btw, the complaint i filed with state, 60 timeline has past, still nothing. advocate said that will weigh heavy on the school and the state for not folloing policy as i am to follow policy.
