I have always taught my son to pee sitting down. My girlfriend said he'd make less mess etc, and I took her experienced advice seriously(2 boys herself). Also I figured it was an easier transition for doing #2.

Anyway this morning... I see my son pee standing up! He's never been taught that and he's never done it before!!

I was in shock... Like watching your cat use the toilet...

Anyway, I didn't acknowledge it.. Just pretended I never saw it.. don't want to make him uncomfortable. But then, because he's only been shown a routine to sit.. he didn't know what to do after.. he turned around twice... then sat down for about 10 seconds drumming his fingers on his leg.. then stood up again.. and then forgot to get dressed...

Weird.. wonder what made him decide to do it?

Then he noticed the tissue box was gone, asked for a tissue... I was caught by surprise, because usually I have remind him to use one.... I was about to get him a serviette/napkin, but he beat me to it, and problem solved and got one for himself....

So on the ball today!!! Residue from the school trip? Wow!
