I have athritis in my left hip, I have taken Celebrex (bad stomach aches) Ultram, (no change) Ultracet (worse than the Ultram) and then my New Dr. put me on Naproxen, o.k. bad stomach trouble, even when taking it with food. UGH!!! I know that what works for some don't work for others, but I just need some kind of general idea what might be my next option... also, new Dr, had only been seeing a little over a month, has moved UGH again!!! trying to find another Dr so I just wanted some ideas from someone who has found something that has helped a little bit, I hurt ALL the time!!! some days are worse than others. Thanks for listening to me complain, I am just so tired of hurting, as I am sure all of you are, just want to hear from somebody with some experience and knowledge about this!!

" have you tried to take pantoloc to relieve the stomach aggravation. i take plaquenil, orudis, and pantoloc to offset the orudis. i was on naproxen but find orudis to be more effective with the pain. i also have narcotics on hand when i have severe pain so i can go through the days.(codeine and hydrocodone). when my hip acts up severely it usually also includes some bursitis, a cortisone shot might give you some relief. i hope this helps some. its hard when the hip is inflamed you hurt to stand and hurt to sit. good luck..
