Lately i've had problems bending my knee and the dr can inject my knee but it works only acouple of weeks..I think something else is going on with my knee..lastnight i laid down and my whole leg was swollen.from ankle to knee..what could it be??

" I think you should call your doctor's ofc, maybe there is inflammation or fluid buildup and he can prescrible something for it. Anyway, I hope you get some help and soon. I know how frustrating it is to deal with chronic pain! Hugs, Judy "

" Is this dr. a specialist or your primary care dr.? If its your primary, see if he will send you to a rheumatologist. You may need an MRI of the knee to check for a tear that the injection just won't fix. As for the swelling, that needs further investigating. Instead of just calling, make an appt. so the dr. can see for himself what leg looks like. That might prompt some action. "
