First...I want to thank those who responded to my post a few weeks ago.
I decided to have the injections and had my first last Friday , the 9th. The injection itself was not to bad...having a really handsome doc helps..LOL...but I did notice more pressure and stiffness on the drive home, which is an hour.
I haven't noticed a great difference yet , and remain optimistic that by the time I am finished with the right knee , I can get the left done.
I will keep you up dated on my progress...with fingers crossed.(not really crossed..that hurts to much)
I hope all of you have a lo pain day.
Dixie

" Pressure and stiffness can be normal, as the injection itself traumatizes the area temporarily. My dr. recommends going home and putting ice on the site, keeping leg propped up and taking it easy for the day, or at least for a couple of hours after the injection. It may take completing all the injections and a few weeks after that to really begin to see the difference, or some people respond sooner. Hang in there. I hope they work great for you like Supartz work for me. "

" Well , today I go for injection #2 , so far there has not been any significant change...but it is so hard to tell with the weather like it is. We had storms pass north of us yesterday...so I was , and am in an elevated state of pain. I will be coming straight home again today , ice and elevate.....I will keep you posted on any progress.
I hope you all find a million reasons to smile today ...and that your week-end is blessed beyond measure. "
