I completely understand and go thru the same thing. I wish the weather station would pay me for predictions because I am definitely more accurate than they are. Summers keep me pretty much at home with my air conditioner on. I can't breathe with the humidity and if I don't put shoes on upon getting out of bed, I won't be wearing any that day or will wear them with much pain. I live in Philadelphia PA and we are considered the Valley (Delaware Valley). Living in the valley means that we get passed over for a lot of weather problems but the humidity lingers over us longer than higher level cities. Even the winter can be humid but my worse season is summer.

I have the most difficulty when there is a large gradient between day and nighttime temps. This spring has been horrible for that here in the Pacific Northwest, where we had snow as recently as Sunday.

I feel like a weather predictor, too! I have an aunt with back problems similiar to mine, and so far, our predictions have been pretty accurate! We compare often! Usually, mine is worse until the precipitation begins, then it seems to ease up.

I understand how you feel. I too can tell when the weather is changing. When rain is on the way. I have OA in my knee due to a tumor. And have pain and swelling anytime the weather changes. I am dealing with it right now as a matter of fact. My foot and knee are swollen and my knee is hurting anytime I walk. The pain meds don't take care of the pain when it gets this bad. So just have to suffer through it.

I go through the same thing also. I work with older adults and we often joke about up coming weather changes that our bodies are predicting. It's something we have in common and are having to live with. Dramatic temp change and big storms are the worst.

I have always 'felt' the weather connection, and since I do a great deal of traveling I get to go back and forth in and out of weather fronts. I have also noticed that when the barometer gets real high that I am also affected.
blessed be,

Weather, impending weather, changes in atmospheric conditions. They all affect me. Unfortunately I live in northern new england and we have just had the most horrible winter ever.

It isn't acttually the weather that effects us instead it is the fluctuations of the barametric pressure. Any noticeable fluctuation in it causes my body to go into a tailspin. ((hugs))marcia

The weather affects me. I live on the Pacific Coast where it is damp all the time, but I'm worse when it rains. I have added a dehumidifier to my apt. and run it most of the time wringing quarts of water out of the air--and I think it helps a lot. I'd like to try to find an inexpensive place in Arizona or somewhere to go for a couple of months in winter to see if that helps. Johall
