I don't think it can that young. But I think like all stress, it does wear on you after a while.

I ABSOLUTLY KNOW THAT ANXIETY CAN AFFECT YOUR PHYSICAL BEING. I QONDER WHY SOO MANY DOCTORS HAVE SUCH DIFFERENT ANSWERS. OUR PSYCH EVEN TOLD US THAT IT CAN AND I KNOW MY HEALTH HAS BEEN AFFECTED BY MY ANXIETY.

yes your health can be effected by it. If you look anxiety up online it does say so.

I do believe that any stress can affect your health. Your daughter's heart murmur would not have been caused by her anxiety, however it can cause a heart to race especially during a panic attack. Heart murmur's are common in young children. If you are worried about it you can always request that they do an echo. This is an ultrasound of the heart.

hi momof3monkeys, LOL love the name,,, she had a echo here a few weeks ago,, and had all the test all was good so that was great,,,

YEa her heart does race, I know every time they check her pulse at the psychiatrist office its racing,,

But yea I knew nothing of heart mur murs till they told me she had one, and well ya know with her anxiety I thought perhaps that had something to do with it,...Thanks for the response,,,hugs
