I recently tried taking the generic for Paxil and I was wondering if any one can tell me of any experiences with switching to generics...does it change anything or affect you? I am pretty sure my nerves are strickly self inflicted ...but I keep telling myself it was the generic...

" My insurance wouldn't pay for paxil but did pay for the generic paroxetine. I have taken both and they are the same. The problem I have with paxil and the generic is that it builds up in my system and then gives me suicidal thoughts. Everyone reacts differently to these drugs, so I hope it works for you. "
