I have been getting panic attacks at work lately and some times Im not sure what to do.I will be going and getting meds soon and having therapy which will be great.I am currently doing work experince in a rest home.I offten have a panic attack at the worst time possible, like right when Im dressing, showering or standing a resident up(and most of these arent light weight people).I can't exactly leave the resident because of risk of injury, mean while i feel like im gonna be sick and die and Im trying to concerntate on getting them done.I also have a time limit.I can't get help because there is one person to one wing of about twenty to thirty something residents. We end up careing for about five to six people and it is extreamly busy.I have manged to go and sit down for a while some where and calm down but thats only if Im not busy.Any one have any ideas?

" Yup take some calms forte at work. www.calmsforte.com. If you only take 1 or 2 it calms you rather than making you sleepy. It really helps. I have so much stress at work if I didn't take these I'd probably jump out the window "

" I used to do what I called bathroom breaks at work. Once you take care of the patient can you go into the bathroom and use some breathing techniques and self talk to help you calm down. No one can fault you if you have to go to the bathroom. "
